Along with Filipino candies and pastries, my Dad brought back some skincare items I requested.

I actually wanted a calamansi soap bar from a brand called Snoe Beauty, but my cousins couldn't find it so they got me this instead. It has pretty good reviews but I'm using Etude House's Pore Freshener as my toner right now. I'll try it when I get a pimple!

My Beauty Diary masks!!! I'm finally trying them out. I went to the local Asian grocery stores to find how much they were selling them for. 99 Ranch actually had them on sale (2/$24). The other store I went to (Marina) was selling them for $16! The regular price for a box at 99 Ranch was $14.99. I wanted to get the Strawberry Yogurt one but 99 Ranch didn't have it and I wasn't going to pay $16 for it when it's $13.99 online with free shipping and no tax. I tried the Bulgarian White Rose one today and it was a different experience for me! I never use masks, but I wanted to try these out!

Gosh, I wish I could dress like this at school, but it's pants and sneakers for me because of work T_T. In better news, I got the Nikon D3100 for my digital photography class (a reason to get a dslr woo!). In the store, I was comparing it to the Canon EOS Rebel T1i, seeing that they were kind of similar (14.2 vs. 15 megapixels, 1080 hd, 3'' lcd), but I went with the Nikon because 1)It was cheaper 2)Smaller and lighter 3)Everyone in my class has Canons -__-

went to a local art and wine festival this past weekend. i think that's all i'm going to do this summer. it's kinda nice : ] walked by the food stands 5 times trying to decide what to eat.
yay finally got my order from 23stien of the exhausted ettiquette via etsy. it took a month to get it, but it's finally here. plus, she included a cute black bow barrette and a pin. now i don't know what to do with the baby blue maxi dress. i was planning to get it hemmed, but it's too beautiful long! hmm maybe it'll be one of those pieces one just stares at in their closet : /

vintage expo

went to the vintage expo in San Francisco last sunday and it was fun, except i lost my favorite black cardigan/sweater. so sad T_T

we ate at a french restaurant called Absinthe. the croque monsieur was delicious, but i felt uncomfortable the whole time because here we were, asian looking kids, while the rest were caucasian mid-20s and upwards. it's weird to say that i'm not used to being the minority.went to the mall afterwards and got 5 for $15 undies from American Eagle lol. also went to l'occitane and got a different kind of rose hand cream, but this one is more old lady smelling T_T it's okay though because i ordered another rosebud hand cream on ebay.passed by target today to get a 1 1/4 curling iron (which i loove) and saw that they had elf cosmetics! yay! now i don't have to order online anymore! stocked up on clear mascara for my brows and bought another eyelash curler that has a closed handle which i love as well!i want to try this volumizer because my hair is so helplessly flat, but i don't think it'll help since my hair is long and heavy. also got this covergirl mascara. i was so sad that they discontinued my favorite mascara from them, the green waterproof one with the curved brush. gotta try this one out to see if it's still the same!

really wanting a bike now that it's practically summer at the moment. something like this but not black.

some stuff

went to a knitting convention at the santa clara convention center. took the light rail there and was thirsty for smoothies and there you go, they had smoothies. i didn't get one though : /
got size 15 dpns and a defuzzer comb. it really works and it's fun to use : ]
bought this concealer even though it wasn't on sale because i just had to get something (which is not very good). the yellow side doesn't neutralize my dark circles much and the concealer side is too light for my skin tone. i am still on an epic search to find the perfect concealer -_-
on the search for high waisted pants to make into high waisted shorts. found these at goodwill and they fit me perfectly because they're hemmed at the right length. these pants totally remind me of my filipino stats teacher who wears 80s outfits complete with high waists, shoulder padded blazers, and frilly hair accessories.
made more cute dolls (they are mini versions) because i was bored. i really hate weekends because i have nothing to do. if i could have it, there wouldn't be weekends.
doesn't the monkey look weird? it's the eyes : / but he's still my favorite! : ]

nomnom choco and wasabi

had a nice valentine's day rushing to finish the boypren's gift, eating (not that great) all you can eat sushi, nomming on onsale chocolates and watching labyrinth.
made these dolls (a monkey and a kidnapper) from the book Cute Dolls by Aranzi Aronzo. i want to keep them for myself!

and finally picked up this blazer that i got from thrifting from the drycleaners. is paying $50 for alterations on one jacket and dry cleaning 3 of them expensive? i don't know, but it felt expensive to me :[.

in love with this headband from Forever21. i just hate it when you see classmates from high school that you know of, but are not friends with. it's just like: *stare at eachother and go on with own business. ugh!
