ecotools kabuki set

I went to Target recently and found this set by ecotools. I was thinking of buying the flat top and angled kabuki from sigma makeup, but after getting this set I don't think I need it anymore. I like how each of the brushes has their own use. The round contour kabuki is perfect for contouring. Although these brushes aren't as full as other kabuki brushes, they're soft and a great deal at $14.99

Sunday, December 11, 2011 haul & review!

I made my order on a Monday, it shipped on Thursday, and I received it the following Monday. Two of the items I ordered were out of stock which bummed me out because I really wanted those items. I wasn't notified of my items being out of stock. I found out by checking my account everyday to see the progress (such as "Purchase Underway", "Out of Stock", "Refunded", "Shipped", etc.). So in total, I bought 5 items totaling $74.50 with EMS shipping being $56. I was refunded for the oos items and the EMS shipping.

My order shipped really quickly, but the box was beat up. Items were individually wrapped.

Trendy Style Fur JK

This is my favorite item out of the bunch. I've been looking for a furry cardigan/coat and this is exactly what I've been looking for! It is warm and it has pockets! It also comes with a leather belt.

walker boots

I'm really happy with these boots as well. I ordered 240 which equals a US size 7 and they fit. The doc marten-looking ones were slightly snug but it was because the insole is very thick. I can't really order lace up boots here in the U.S. because the shaft is high. My calves are big so it doesn't really look good. I like lace up boots from Korea because the shaft is usually 5 inches, perfect for my legs.

sheer stockings

I also ordered these back-seam stockings and another pair of sheer stockings. They were cheap ($4.50 & $3).

Overall, I would definitely order from them again. I actually want to get the fur jacket in beige and I need to stock up on the boots! The only problem with is that the shipping is expensive.

Jeffrey Campbell Lita Knockoffs

Recently found GoJane's knockoff version of the Jeffrey Campbell Lita. I didn't think of buying it at that time until they ran out of my size in taupe. After that I went into a crazy fervor searching through similar sites like trying to find the same style. Eventually I found my size in taupe at! Can't wait to see how they are. Listed below are the other sites I found that carry the same style, but many of them don't have many sizes or colors available. (Links are within the pictures!)

GoJane $38.95

A'gaci Store $36.50

Make Me Chic $33.00

Urban Original $33.50-$33.90
lita5 (Wholesale from China) $21.57

so sad

Missed out on something again...

Steve Madden Grettta platforms for $53.99! Saw them last night on Dillard's. Checked back the next morning and they didn't have my size in Black T_T.

Got taupe instead at These platforms are like the new JC Litas...

more baby lips

Baby Lips is sounding more and more creepy -__-. Anyway, after seeing the great color payoff on the Cherry Me and Peach Kiss Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms, I had to get the Pink Punch one.

The picture doesn't really show the true color of the lip balm because the color gets darker and more noticeable a few minutes after applying. All in all, I love it and hope that Maybelline comes out with more colors in their Baby Lips line!

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm

Once I found out Maybelline had a lip balm coming out, I rushed to my nearest CVS to get some!

L-R: Quenched, Cherry Me, Peach Kiss

They are $4.19 each at CVS. I had a $4 Extra Bucks coupon from a previous purchase and they were giving out a $3 Extra Bucks coupon with a $10 Maybelline Eye or Lip purchase, so overall I got a pretty good deal. The deals one can get at CVS seem too good to be true! Remember you can get a rain check for something that is on sale but out of stock. I totally forgot about it when the Suave Dry Shampoo was 3 for $5 T_T.

Anyway, I was excited about these lip balms because I only have one Nivea lip balm left and haven't gone out to get more. They have the same packaging and style, but I love how the Maybelline ones have SPF20 instead of SPF4 which Nivea has. Also something to note, "Peach Kiss" has shimmers in it. It's not obvious and both leave a nice sheer tint.

flatforms not platforms

Obsessed right now with flatforms...immediately fallen for trends this time...

(Links are within the pictures!)

Gojane surprisingly has the trend. I hope to get the Zipia ones soon!

stressing out

Went to the Vintage Expo on Sunday in search of some vintage frames.

Unknowingly bargained for vintage frames, walked around sweating and delirious, ate delicious vegan food, and scored a dress for $2.50 at Out of the Closet thrift store.

crochet top from Auntie, Urban Outfitters shorts, espadrille flats

Couldn't go thrift shopping while in Long Beach, but my Auntie came to the rescue with old clothes she had. Scored this crochet top, an 80's crop top, and a Christian Dior nightgown. Also found a pair of vintage high waisted levi cut offs from Urban Outfitters. Life is complete. For now.

asos order!

Is it weird to immediately wear items one gets in the mail or from the store? Because I do that -__-.

DSC_0407 top & shoes, Forever 21 shorts, bag

The sizing they have is really confusing and the size chart they have doesn't really help. Ordered this top in a UK12 which would be a US8/Medium. I was afraid it would be too big, but it was the fit I was looking for.

These shoes were a let down. In the picture they looked like a supple material, but in actuality they're stiff and lighter in color. My achilles tendon got some blisters because of the stiffness.
