Some goodies from over the weekend:
Got the L'oreal Revitalift Eye Cream from Target, on sale for $12.50. Gotta go check if it's still on sale so I can stock up :p! I don't really need an eye cream right now, but I wanted to try this out because it has good reviews and my dark eye circles need some help. I won't see if it works until a couple of weeks, but I like it already. It smells great and feels luxurious (maybe it's because it's my first eye cream -__-). I don't really moisturize my eye area and this is a great moisturizer. The skin around my eyes looks moisturized and more plump.

Suave Dry Shampoo
Finally got the Suave Dry Shampoo at my local Walmart yay! I was scanning the Suave section going "Yeah, yeah of course they don't have it" when I saw it. I started jumping up and down and my friends just stared, lol.
Compared with Tresemme's Dry Shampoo:
Suave: 5 oz. @ $2.74 (from Walmart)
Tresemme: 5.7 oz. @ $5.94 (from Walgreens)
Initial reaction:
Used it for the first time today and boy is it strong! Reviews said it had a grapefruit scent and I thought it would be a nice refreshing grapefruit scent, but no! It really made me think of regular air freshener sprays. Air freshener sprays=bad smelling bathrooms. It was very strong, stronger than the Tresemme's citrus scent in my opinion. I caught whiffs of it throughout the day. The good thing was that it did make my hair look better. It also did not become as flat and blah as the Tresemme one does, but I did not go through my usual 8-hr days, so we'll see. The one thing that I do like is the range of the spray. The spray has a bigger range compared to the Tresemme. I don't know how long this Suave can is going to last me though, because when I held both cans, the Tresemme felt heavier. It could be the can itself, but we'll see how long it lasts.

Zipia sweater & boots, Forever 21 skirt, Target tights
Gosh, I wish I could dress like this at school, but it's pants and sneakers for me because of work T_T. In better news, I got the Nikon D3100 for my digital photography class (a reason to get a dslr woo!). In the store, I was comparing it to the Canon EOS Rebel T1i, seeing that they were kind of similar (14.2 vs. 15 megapixels, 1080 hd, 3'' lcd), but I went with the Nikon because 1)It was cheaper 2)Smaller and lighter 3)Everyone in my class has Canons -__-

eyebrows
Here is what I've been using to fill in my eyebrows:
Maybelline Natural Smokes quad & Marcelle Accent Eyebrow Crayon in Charcoal (from Canada)
Right now I'm using the pencil because it's much more softer than using the eyeshadow in the quad. Since it's from Canada, I wanted to find other alternatives, so I picked up NYC's Brow/Eyeliner Pencil in Charcoal and Taupe from CVS.
Top to bottom: Maybelline quad, Marcelle pencil, NYC Charcoal pencil, NYC Taupe pencil
I thought that both the NYC and Marcelle pencils would be similar, but the NYC one is really dark as you can see above. The NYC pencils are really nice in that they're only 99 cents and very waxy.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm
Losing/forgetting chapstick is the worst thing ever. You notice your dry lips even more! Recently, I lost my Nivea chapstick (which I had just bought) and reverted back to EOS. Not a fan of the Sweet Mint flavor because I always peel/bite my dry skin off and it burns when I apply it. Saw Burt's Bees new product at Walgreens a few days ago but was seriously broke (T_T), but now I got my paycheck and a great deal on all of these chapsticks!
With an instant coupon ($3 off a $10 cosmetics purchase) and a regular manufacturers coupon (BOGO free Nivea Lip Care), I was able to get these 4 chapsticks for about $4 each at CVS. (I'm really starting to love CVS now) The Nivea chapsticks were regularly $3.49 and $3.99. The Burt's Bess Tinted Lip Balms are $6.99.
I was drawn to the cardboard packaging and colors. Unfortunately, the cardboard packaging is just that--packaging. The lip balm is in a regular plastic tube. The colors are pretty, but sheer. I kind of notice the nude of Honeysuckle, but other people would probably not see it. The taste and scent in both are similar.

So excited for Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo! When I saw it on youtube, I went straight to my nearest Walmart (at 10:00 at night -__-) and of course they didn't have it. I called the Walmarts around my area and one store says they have it, but I'm weary (-__-). I'm trying to rationalize driving over there just to get it (if they even have it).
