Black Radiance Complexion Perfection Shine Control Primer

DSC_0041

My T-zone has been super oily lately even though it's winter so I got this after reading the reviews on Makeupalley. I purchased this set on ebay for $5.50 and it included free shipping.

Although I got this set to try out the primer I use the concealer for contouring. The concealer has a stick and liquid end. I use the stick end and draw a line where the contour should be and blend it out.

The primer comes in a small (0.84 fl oz/25 ml) tube. The consistency is like lotion. It applies easily and clearly. For the past few days I've been putting 3 (yes 3. one layer didn't help at all) layers on my forehead and nose. I found that it doesn't help with controlling oil as I hoped it would. I still get oily after only 3-4 hours. Even when I get to work an hour after I apply it my forehead is already shiny. I do notice that my forehead doesn't get as oily as before. Before it was an oil slick, but now it just looks dewy. I also notice that it doesn't blur my pores/imperfections like other primers do. So overall it wasn't a complete fail but I'm still on the lookout for something to control my oil!

Creepers from Ebay

I've been wanting creepers for a while and finally found affordable ones on ebay!

IMG_1201
ebay creepers

Here is the listing. The ones I bought were priced at $25.36 with $18.96 shipping. I thought $44.82 was a great price to pay especially when the ones available here are $60 and up. I ordered on a Thursday, they shipped out the next day, and I received them a week later which is quick considering that it is coming from the U.K. The shoes looked a little big when I first took them out of the box, but they fit my size 7 feet with a little bit of toe room.

The box it came in

I feel like these are the cheap knockoff shoes similar to the kinds of shoes sold on sites like gojane and urbanog because of the name on the box. I don't mind because they are way better than the creepers I bought off of wholesale7 that reeked of chemicals. So far they're great, but if they fall apart I'll definitely update!

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in Medium 3

When I went to MAC to find my shade and get a concealer, I forgot to tell the MUA that I wanted the concealer he used (I thought the lipstick I chose earlier was the concealer! T_T). I researched online on the different MAC concealers and came across a blog post saying that Collection 2000's was a (cheaper) dupe to MAC concealers.

I bought mine on ebay from this seller. I paid $12.91 total and it came in a week from the UK! I've only used it a few times, but it's the longest wear concealer I've had. I have long days (waking up 6, getting home around 5) and by the time I get home, my concealer is usually gone. I didn't have a long day today, but I took a nap and I still see some coverage. The concealer dries quickly so I have to work with it quicker than usual.

Rohto Hadalabo Moist BB Cream in #2 Natural Ochre

I wanted to get Ettusais's BB Mineral Cream a while ago but didn't want to risk paying $35 for something that might not match my skin tone so I went on the hunt for yellow toned BB creams and stumbled upon Sue Lynn's post on yellow toned BB creams!!! (What a lifesaver!) I decided to try the Rhoto Hadalabo BBs and got their Moist BB Cream in #2 Natural Ochre on ebay from the seller "Katbeauty". They also sell it on Adambeauty and Imomoko.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream #27 Honey Beige
50ml $29.99 (can find cheaper prices on ebay)
-Pump
-Has a scent

Rohto Hadalabo Moist BB Cream #2 Natural Ochre
45g $19.50-$24.50
-Squeeze tube
-No scent

For reference, I am a NC30 in MAC. I think that both BB creams work with my skin tone. Missha's is definitely more orange compared to Rohto's. I do appreciate the yellow undertone in Rohto's though. Rohto's also provides a more dewy glow compared to Missha's, but for me it doesn't matter because I'm going to put powder over it anyway.

need to stop

Purchased two more Alexa bags from the same ebay seller on a whim and kind of regret it now. Some people say "If you like something, buy it in different colors", but when I think of it, I don't really need another one in another color when this one in the color I like will suffice. Ugh, my impulses! T_T

I wanted a smaller one so that I could use it when I'm not at school, so I chose this one, but it ended up being the same size as the first one I got, so that means I can fit my binder and other school stuff. I wish I had purchased this one in the first place because it is better quality and has more pockets.

I also purchased a black one of the first one I got. I thought it would look good as a backpack, but to be honest, I don't think I'm going to use it! >_<

Overall, they were a good deal. I got a 5% off discount because it was more than one item, so I ended up paying a total of $31.50 for each bag which is a steal. Plus, it came in 2 weeks exactly, so I didn't have to wait a really long time!

material things make it better

Found an el torito sweet corn cake mix and omg I'm in heaven! >_<

Also found a good Alexa bag replica!

Bought this replica for $32.00 with free shipping from ebay seller "yaxin09". Note that this seller might be nonexistent by the time you look (happened to me before : (. Still, some searches you can use to find this style are a mix of "messenger bag" "satchel" and "handbag". It shipped the day after I bought it and it only took 2 weeks! I thought it would take at least a month since it was free shipping.

To be honest, I was expecting a cheap-ass bag with crappy quality, but what I got surpassed my expectations. The quality of the bag is really good, the material feels soft. The bag can be worn as a backpack as you can see in the pictures above. This was a definite plus! Another plus is that you can undo the tabs at the side which is helpful for when there's a lot of stuff. There's a zipper and plenty of pockets. My school stuff also fits so I can use it as a school bag : ].

Overall, it's a STEAL compared to similar styles that are more expensive. I only received this bag today, so this is my initial review. It might fall apart with more usage of this bag (but let's hope that doesn't happen! T_T).

On a related note, I purchased the Alexa bag replica from Wholesale-dress.net over a month ago and still have not received it. It's true they totally rip people off! Before I felt like filing a dispute on Paypal, but changed my mind. I don't really mind that it's $21.40 though. I'm just going to wait it out.

For $185, they're definitely way better quality than the ($40) cheap-ass ones I bought from Lovelyshoes.net. I saw them on ebay, but went through email instead of buying it there.

Faux Fur Leopard Coat from Ebay

Really loving my new coat. Purchased it for $21.99 plus $8.99 s&h from this ebay seller. I decided to pick this one instead of the other faux fur leopard coat seen everywhere else because it has pockets and buttons.

Chopped off the purely for decoration pom poms. The buttons haven't fallen off yet, but as you can see, they're not fastened completely.
