Rohto Hadalabo Moist BB Cream in #2 Natural Ochre

I wanted to get Ettusais's BB Mineral Cream a while ago but didn't want to risk paying $35 for something that might not match my skin tone so I went on the hunt for yellow toned BB creams and stumbled upon Sue Lynn's post on yellow toned BB creams!!! (What a lifesaver!) I decided to try the Rhoto Hadalabo BBs and got their Moist BB Cream in #2 Natural Ochre on ebay from the seller "Katbeauty". They also sell it on Adambeauty and Imomoko.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream #27 Honey Beige
50ml $29.99 (can find cheaper prices on ebay)
-Pump
-Has a scent

Rohto Hadalabo Moist BB Cream #2 Natural Ochre
45g $19.50-$24.50
-Squeeze tube
-No scent

For reference, I am a NC30 in MAC. I think that both BB creams work with my skin tone. Missha's is definitely more orange compared to Rohto's. I do appreciate the yellow undertone in Rohto's though. Rohto's also provides a more dewy glow compared to Missha's, but for me it doesn't matter because I'm going to put powder over it anyway.

Augghh! Breakouts!

I haven't posted my second Gmarket haul yet, but I have to post this asap:

Bbi@ Blooming Ocean
Matifying Sun Primer

I purchased this in my second Gmarket haul. I decided to try it out because it was cheap (3,700 won or ~3.41) and I was getting other things from the same seller. I didn't try this out until two days ago and now my skin is itchy and bumpy : (. Fortunately it's not all over my face, just on my chin. Just giving you guys a heads up if you are interested in this product!

MAC Studio Careblend Pressed Powder in Medium Dark

A few weeks ago, my skin was getting dry so I decided to try MAC's Studio Careblend Pressed Powder. I bought it off of ebay and was paranoid awhile afterwards thinking that it was a fake, but I'm certain now that it's real lol. I don't think I'm going to buy MAC products from ebay anymore though. I don't think it is worth it taking that risk.

Anyway, I finally found out my shade in MAC! For reference, I'm NC30 and purchased the Careblend powder in Medium Dark. I have the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus and loved it when I first got it, but stopped using it (the on and off/ changing up cosmetics thing : ]). Overall, I like the powder because it looks nice and provides a matte finish, but it's not completely matte. I don't know if it is nourishing my skin because I've been moisturizing more. It's also cheaper than the MSF Natural ($23 vs $29) for the same amount of product.

I'm sorry for the sucky swatch above (I didn't swatch heavily, but I guess it shows that it works with my skin tone lol!) but if you can tell, the MSF Natural has a pink undertone compared to the Careblend powder.

Cheap Makeup Remover Wipes

IMG_0806
Forever 21
Love & Beauty Green Tea Extract Makeup Cleansing Tissues $2.80

After using Missha's Perfect Cover BB Cream for a few days, I noticed that I was breaking out more than usual. It was due to a couple of factors, but one of them was the fact that I was actually wearing makeup everyday and needed to remove it properly. Before using the BB cream, I would just use Sonia Kashuk's Tinted Moisturizer and MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural. To be completely honest I never washed my face at night, but I would never break out.

Since I'm so lazy that I wouldn't even wash my face at night, I decided the best solution would be makeup remover wipes. I saw the makeup wipes Forever 21 had online (Green Tea, Rose, Lavender, etc.) and immediately went on the hunt for them. I could only find the Green Tea ones in the store, but I wanted the other scents too. One day, I went to Big Lots and saw boxes of these makeup remover wipes that were only a $1. I decided to give it a try and found that it did the job.

Epielle Cleansing Tissues $1.00
From Big Lots

My face felt tight after using the Forever 21 wipes, so now I use Sana's Hadanomy Collagen Mist right after. I'm pretty sure the wipes from Big Lots would make my face feel tight too, but I use the mist right after so I wouldn't know. Overall, I would choose the $1 makeup wipes from Big Lots over Forever 21's makeup wipes. They're cheap, they have a nice cucumber scent, and they do the job. If I was at Forever 21 and saw the wipes, I would get them, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. Also, I just stocked up on the $1 wipes because Big Lots was having a 20% off sale today :p

Wholesale7.net Haul & Review

Ordered from wholesale7.net in December and I'm finally reviewing it! I ordered 6 items on a Sunday and emailed them the following Tuesday to ask when it will ship out. They emailed back asking if I had received an email saying one of my items was out of stock and of course I didn't. I replaced my oos item with another pair of shoes and I had to pay about $5 more for shipping. I emailed them again on Thursday asking when it was going to ship and they shipped it that same day.

What gets me is that I chose EMS shipping yet they shipped using DHL. DHL is cheaper than EMS, but I didn't take note of the difference in costs when I was checking out. I was afraid of getting hit by customs because I heard that it happens a  lot with DHL, but luckily I didn't. Still, it's pretty messed up of wholesale7.net to use a different shipping carrier when I chose another one and paid more. I didn't email them to complain because I got the package in 3 days and wasn't charged customs. Also, it has been awhile and I believe that they can't do anything to satisfy me. If it happens to you I highly suggest you email them back asking for a refund. If they don't comply, work with Paypal.

Moving on to the items:

Korea Fashionable Man-made Fur Lambswool Overcoat

$11.25

DSC_0203

As you can see, it doesn't really look like the item in the pictures. When I took it out of the plastic bag, some of the material got all over me and the clothes so I had to shake it outside. It's okay, but it's cheap. It's one of the items I was okay with, but I haven't worn it out. I'm glad I purchased it off wholesale7.net instead of ebay though, because if I did I would've been pissed for paying way more.

New Autumn fashion Fuzzy Fleece Sweater

$5.75

wholesale7.7

DSC_0207

This one was the worst item. The material is thin. It wasn't the fluffy soft cardigan I imagined. The buttons don't match up with the corresponding button holes. It's 3/4 sleeved but hard to pull up because it has no stretch.

Western Style Turndown Collar Show Thin Velvet Dress

$7.50

wholesale7.1

DSC_0218

The quality of this item was alright (on par with Forever 21 quality), but what got me was the lopsided collar.  If only the collar was sewn on straight would I have liked this item. The good thing is that it's not short or too tight. Sadly I don't want it and I'm planning on trying to sell it at Crossroads or something.

Japan’s Forest Style Lovely Wool Ball Snow Hot Pants

$8.50

These shorts are one of the two items that I actually liked from this order. The knit is thick and it's a style I like. The only thing that bothers me is the crotch. It's not very flattering.

VC Tide Shoes Leopard Platform Shoes In Japan

$14.50

wholesale7.9
DSC_0220

This is the other item I really liked. I opted for these shoes for the oos item. The initial quality seems good, but I've learned my lesson with buying shoes from wholesale sites (terrible quality, falls apart, not worth it). I've only worn these once so I'm weary of the actual quality. Another thing that gets me is the chemical smell. I've left them outside ever since I got them and they still reek of chemicals.

LENA Retro Cool Star Heavy-bottomed Platform Shoes Series

$13.75
Out of Stock

wholesale7.4
DSC_0222

Another thing I've learned from shopping online: DO NOT RELY ON THE PICTURES. They look burgundy in the pictures, but the shoes were listed "Red". Should have known. I haven't worn these out because they're too bright for me and most likely will try to sell it to Crossroads, etc.

Overall, this haul was a fail. In my opinion, it's not worth it to buy from these type of shops. I've learned my lesson from buying wholesale shoes and now I learned my lesson buying from wholesale sites in general. It's not worth it paying how much for each item (even if it's only this many dollars per item) because most likely, the item is cheap and not good quality. I'd rather pay more for things I actually want and which are better quality. For example, Korean wholesale/non-wholesale shops. I think that the only time I will order from wholesale shops again is if I 1)Really want an item and 2)I've seen other people wear it (such as reviews or lookbook).

first gmarket haul!

I don't know why I haven't ordered from Gmarket before, but I finally did after getting fed up by the jacked up prices of safari/Korean styled jackets on ebay.

I ordered on a Wednesday, my items shipped the following Wednesday, and I received it on Saturday. Initially, I paid $220.69, but one of my items was out of stock. My actual shipping was $45.26 and I got 7,400 won refunded to my Cash Balance. The oos item was refunded to my paypal account. My total was $181.22.

I can't talk about the qualities of this BB cream because it doesn't match my skin tone! At first glance, it looks like it matches compared to Missha's but it is just too beige/pink toned for me. In certain lights it looks like it matches, but overall it doesn't work with my skin tone : (.

Unfortunately, this did not work out for me either because the shade was too light! Should've known -__-. Ah, the pitfalls of shopping online.

This is one of my favorite items! I love how it makes my cheekbones glow! On the directions it says that it is a base, but I only use it to highlight my cheekbones. At 40ml, it will last awhile especially when I only need a teeny tiny dot for each cheekbone. The brightener on top is 4g and is to be used on the eye region.

4. Etude House Missing U Hand Cream #3 Panda (Peach)
   4,500 won ~$4.01
IMG_0764
IMG_0765

I love this, it's so cute! The smell is delicious and it's so adorable! The consistency is light and absorbs easily. My only problem with it is that it only has 30ml/1.01 fl oz (the cream is at the bottom in the pink part, the panda is just the cover), but it's cheaper than the other hand cream I was using (L'occitance Shea Butter hand cream in Rose).

Volume Bling Mascara
IMG_0752

I really like the way this mascara coats my lashes. I don't know if it's waterproof and I haven't tested it out, but I do know that it's hard for me to remove. It gets really flaky! The cool thing about this is that the other end is glitter!

As you can see, this jacket is humongous on me! My dumbass didn't check the measurements of the jacket and instead based it on the looks of the model T_T. I wanted a jacket that was this style and had a thick, soft lining inside. I'm not sure if it'll be worth it to try to hem it, but we'll see. The only places I see my self wearing this outside is in the snow or an outdoor concert in San Francisco or something : /.

I got this jacket because there was one on Stylenanda with a similar style but a $150 price tag -__-. I like this jacket because it was the style I was looking for and the fur trim feels nice. The things I don't like about this jacket are that the fur trim easily detaches from the buttons that hold it in place, the buttons are badly sewn on, and the jacket attracts lint and fur easily. Also note the cheap lining inside. It's really unnecessary because it gets in the way and detaches from the buttons easily.

Caramel Brown Cardigans

2. VO16 ~$11.48

DSC_0200

I had an obsession over this "Caramel Brown" color after I got a cardigan with the same color from Zipia. The first cardigan is a bit long for me (not checking the measurements again -__-). I like the second cardigan the most. My only problem is that the material of both cardigans makes it pill easily, but that's what I get for getting cheap cardigans. *sigh. At least my "Caramel Brown" obsession is satiated.

Overall, it was an interesting first haul from gmarket. I've already made my second order, but this time it's only beauty products.
