went to the beach today. the weather was so nice! didn't dress the part because stupid weather.com said it was going to be windy.over at new brighton beach in santa cruz i think. it smelled like shrimp. haha. i now know the awesomeness of sunglasses when worn in the sun (before i couldn't wear them because of my glasses) but it's so hard to find a good pair. i like these but they aren't flattering.bubbles! went to walmart beforehand to get food and toys. (i went there again later-two times!!! so sad).also during the weekend went clubbing for the first time. not the typical experience because 1)everyone there was asian 2)everyone there probably went to my old high school, hence it was like a freaking high school dance. not the best thing but i still had fun. i thought the two tone aa dress was good but omg the blacklight! no more white. and no more dresses next time. they ride up like crazy.we are so lame.

didn't wear this today but all i've been wearing lately is this black cardigan, jeans, and sneakers. can't get enough of it. especially the sneakers. i've been looking for a pair that aren't vans or converse and this pair is perfect!!! it was a bitch to break in but they're comfortable now. i need to get another pair for when these get eh.yay it's spring break! it feels sooo good to be over with midterms! kinda bummed though because i don't have any plans. i wish i had school so i could have something to do! at least one thing i can do over break is tend to the garden. my sister has gone garden crazy lately. strawberries!!!there is a very pretty tree out in the front. haha you can see my sister.watched knowing. scared the hell out of me. i hate those catastrophe/end of world/sci fi movies. i'm going to have nightmares tonight. but the good thing was eating vietnamese food in the theatre. so delicious! it's just too noisy with the paper and plastic. plus the smell too. oh well haha. i saw a kitty on top of the shed/chicken house. i think it was waiting for the chicken to come out. :|
went to visit my friend in berkeley saturday and ended up staying the night. all we did the whole freaking time was EAT. we're pigs.seriously, there is not that much to do in berkeley, so what did we do: blast music and dance in a dorm room like dorks.the weather was so nice over the weekend, sunny and all, but i was still freezing there. and my tank top has a hole! it gets bigger and bigger every time i pull it down.went shopping around and one store (GIA) was closing and everything was 60% off. got a cute top for $5. planning to wear it with high waisted skirts and shorts. so excited for summer to come.
i learned today that these wedges are NOT easy to walk in! stupid me to think they were just by walking 3 steps on my carpeted floor. at least i'm practicing.watched "All About Dad" at the Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose today. it was a good film. i wish i watched more this year but i just wasn't that interested. at least i can look forward to next year. it was surreal to see the actors in the film in real life. people don't see that on a normal basis.
they seriously are. just looking at them makes me laugh.i washed my grey forever21 tee and the length shrunk a considerable amount. (compare to last post) woo i guess it's good because it didn't work well as a dress.i got a backpack yay! it makes me feel like a little kid. needed one because my tote bag wasn't cutting it. too much shit to bring to school. sucks.
i felt like a hooker walking to walgreens in this. i dunno, it's something about the short skirt and boots. haha. yay i found a way to curl my hair into the loose waves i want! i was really thinking of buying a 1 1/4" iron, but with no moolah i figured that i could take big portions of my hair and wrap it around my 1" with nice effects. woo. also, i have meiko's "boys with girlfriends" song stuck in my head. i wish i could go around in a bear costume all day.
yesterday was a nice day. sad compared to the cloudiness of today. sigh. i can wait till the sun shines again. in the meantime, i'll act as one with the gloominess of the rain. i actually want it to pour.had to take the new outfit out. i think it's my new fallback outfit. i did feel like i was wearing pajamas though without the cardigan.sadly, i've been eating macdo mostly everyday this week. very bad, yes. but when you only have a few dollars in your pocket, it's all you can do if you're starving! haha. way better than macdo, but more expensive: crepes!!! eating it at night outside of madco because there is no where else to eat it is lame but so good. :Din other news which i didn't know of until yesterday: forever21 & bathingsuits? at first i was surprised but realized that i shouldnt have been because they make everything else anyway (shoes, bags, jewelry, etc.) i'm wary of them considering the quality of f21 clothing.
shopping always makes a girl feel better!Aerie cardigan, AE tee, and AE wedges got a $50 AE giftcard from u.talk.back after doing surveys for about a year and did some shopping. couldn't use my discount (bummer) but still found some good stuff anyway. i've been eyeing these wedges for so long and was bummed when they ran out of my size in clearance online. saw them in the store for 11.95 and even though they didn't have a 7, i tried on an 8 and it was fine. yay time to totter around!

tired, yes. i realize that tucking in tops is hard and tedious and results in red hands :/tired from a long day of bus rides around the south bay to the library, whole foods, mall, and movies. went to whole foods to try to find unscented soap with a ph of 5.5, but i wasn't in luck. i noticed today how expensive food is. maybe i'm just being stingy and phobic about the economy, but still. starving college girl here!!! speaking of college... it's been alright. seriously can't dress well because of the cold. i've been wearing the same thing everyday for the past week: jacket, tee, jeans, and sneakers. i thought that having to wake up at 530 tuesdays and thursdays and catching the 622 bus for my 730 class would be hard, but i actually like it. i love how it's still dark out when i get out of my house. the hills are also very pretty with the light outlining its curves. i need to take a picture of that someday. plus getting out at 1220 is a great feeling :D anyway, blah blah blah. excited for charlotte ronson's line for jcpenny.

my eyes feel really messed up right now. they get extremely puffy when i cry (i think bc i rub them too much) so i put ice on them and my vision got blurry. putting on my contacts hurt and later on in the day my eyes started to get foggy and hurt. gah! scary!this top was originally a dress that went up to my knees but it was too long for me so i decided to cut it as a top and now i love it. i just need to hem it or else all the silk is going to fall apart. love the sale at urbanoutfitters. it's like a f**k you to all their expensive prices. haha :D i always feel bad about wasting food. i got a bowl of delicious cranberry and macademia cereal from costco for myself, but then my friend called asking to hang out. i only took two bites before she came over bc i had to change. tear tear! so sad. i think that i would actually cry if i spilled milk or something. ah well. at least i can feed it to the chicken. :Dnew shoes! <3 sale! 2 for $25. not bad, but now i realize the pro of trying on shoes in the store: you get a better fit. i usually wear a size 7 but these flats are 7 1/2 and 6 1/2. weird. now i'm afraid of buying shoes online :[

anyhoo, i tried to tease my hair and even though my sister or brother didn't notice it, i felt like it was too much. it was fun though!target is such a fun to place to shop! fashionable clothes, shoes, cosmetics, and food all in one place?! went yesterday and got a bunch of tights and socks because they were on sale for $5 and i also got boots on clearance for $26! yee :Di actually went there twice bc right when i came home, my friend called asking if i wanted to go with her there. haha sad. afterwards we washed her car, missy, and waxed it. ahh her car feels so nice now! :D searching the internet boredly, i saw these:walmart for $20. i got super excited because urbanoutfitters has a pair that i saw awhile ago.urbanoutfitters for $48. when i saw these online i wanted to get them bc my black boots weren't waterproof anymore. back then they were $38 but of course urbanoutfitters has to raise the freaking price. i just wish walmart had black :/
